I have a lot of feels related to this series, and not all of it is strictly about in-universe stuff. A lot of it has to do with Joe Kelly’s astonishing ability to write a character he hasn’t touched in like fifteen years and not feel the need to reject current continuity and fill the pages with throwbacks to HIS era of Deadpool. This series is so steeped in who Wade is now and how his life has changed, while still managing to hit the same mix of bonkers comedy and surprising sadness that made that first Kelly/McGuinness run work so well. Bravo.
