Some of the black, Latina, and Native American actresses suggested for Karen Page, following Season Two’s setup of the “good white girl vs morally ambiguous WOC” dichotomy with Claire Temple and Elektra Natchios as the latter. Karen would have worked better as a black, Latina, or Native American character, especially since they’re not considered “innocent” in media. Considering how these groups are discredited, intimidated, and shut down, it would add additional layers to Karen’s storyline.
