Celebrating the 1st anniversary of marriage of Captain Swan!!!
Welcome to Once Upon a Time
Where the Captain Swan fans were all like:
and the writers were like
and the fans said
and the writers said
and the fans said
and then the writers did
and the fans saw
and then the writers did
and the fans said
And then we all died.
There is honestly no OTP that could ever top this OTP, lbr.
My two year (and two month) writing anniversary: AKA A journey of how I actually started to believe I could be a writer
So almost 26 months ago I wrote my first ever piece of fiction since I was a school kid. It was New Girl fanfic. It was smut. And it was bad.
I’d always wanted to write, but never knew how to start. I just assumed I was one of the millions of people who say they want to write a novel but never do because they just don’t have what it takes.
Then I fell in love with a little couple called Nick and Jess. I was having a hard time personally (still am, ha!) and the fandom helped me escape from my worries for a bit. And then from that I found fanfic. My previous encounter had started and ended with 50 shades of grey. Hmm. So, needless to say I was like ‘no, I’m not gonna read THAT’. Well, that lasted maybe a couple of months before curiosity got the better of me and I started reading… and all my preconceptions were blown out of the water. Overwhelmingly it was smart, clever, funny and made me love my OTP even more.
I read a bit. I saw things I liked . Things I didn’t. People who inspired me. Fics that I read and thought - ooh, if only they did this, or wrote it like that… One thing led to another and one season finale later I just HAD to write something myself. And that was how it began.
You rock too, my darling. So much I can't even stand it sometimes! I feel positively blessed you chose me as your beta and will never know how I got so lucky to have you become my BFF too. Colin and Jake forever!
my dash feels really dead these days soo… reblog this if you post captain swan! (▰˘◡˘▰)
