i find how people confused that coco is still with inupi in the new timeline and realized its because most fans don't really understand that the fire wasn't the reason kokonui got close. that was the reason they stopped being close.

they have been best friends since childhood. their bond was so strong that despite all traumas and complicated relationship they were together and fell apart only for logical end - they chose each other and continue to choose each other.

koko always followed seishu. he followed him in his gang business, he helped him find a leader for the black dragons, he helped him deal with money matters and informing. he was here for him all the time and in the new timeline we see that even if there is no fire and trauma — he will still do it. he would still be with him. still help him.

now it confirms that koko is sincere and pure in intention from the very beginning.

TOP 3: Who in Tenjiku will be rich in future?

» Best:

1st: Hajime Kokonoi

2nd: Tetta Kisaki

3rd: Haitani Ran

» Worst:

1st: Hanma Shuji

2nd: Kakucho Hitto

3rd: Izana Kurokawa

Wakui's note: Koco, a genius who makes money, is number one winner! Half of them were worst because they thought it was fun rather than profit or loss.

In the Bonten!Timeline, the only things who make Inupi sure that Koko was alive were the anonymous and luxurious gifts sent to him at christmas and for his birthday. And the flowers put on Akane's grave one time by year. Meanwhile Koko kept a photo of Inupi on him all time, and changed it every years, for a more recent.

This is very emotional :')

I imagine Seishu waking up on a holiday morning, perhaps his birthday, discovering the delivery man on the other side of the door. Maybe he lives alone on the money he's made working on D&D, or maybe he shares a flat with Draken because he doesn't have enough to live on his own.

Still, he'd yawn and say he haven't ordered any packages, but the delivery man would show you his name and address and an anonymous sender. Then Seishu's head would click and he would take it without saying anything. He would quietly go back upstairs to his room and sit still on the bed looking at the package. It may not be elegant. It's brown and dull, but the interior is the complete opposite.

Who knows? Maybe it's those nearly $600 Dolce & Gabbana stiletto heels he've been eyeing for future purchase. Kokonoi knows how to read him even years later, in Bonten's shadow, trying not to be corrupted by everything that happens around him. Trying just for Seishu.

He knows everything and knows about his tastes because he has been by his side, although not long enough not to regret having missed. He might have parked his car across the street from D&D Motors just to see him come in. Maybe Sanzu knew about it —I'm sure Sanzu secretly controls everyone's lives to make sure no one is a possible traitor— and got so mad at him.

Even with everything, Kokonoi is still there. Seishu knows it. It's like a presence that accompanies him and weighs on his shoulders like the uncomfortable reminder of conversations they never had. He probably feels guilty, empty because Kokonoi can't see him trying on heels in front of his mirror and smiling weakly. At night, it becomes more painful.

The box has been recycled and the heels are in his closet, but it's not enough. He doesn't want gifts, he wants him and he knows he can't reach him. Even if a decade has passed, Seishu would be sure Kokonoi hasn't changed. Perhaps he dreams of him and can see again those dark, slanted eyes, the silky black hair, even if he doesn't know that Kokonoi has bleached it.

And Kokonoi would be afraid. Afraid of getting too attached to him, of having to push him away because of his work. He would be so afraid of meeting Seishu that he would never do anything but send anonymous packages. He wouldn't want him to know what he's been doing, or with whom, not even about how dirty his hands are, how rotten his heart is.

The last and only shred of humanity that would remain in him would be Seishu.

I'd like to think about a reunion for the sake of my sanity or the opposite.

Perhaps in Seishu coming home at night, after staying up in the middle of the night fixing a motorcycle. In the middle of the empty streets, he is attracted by some whimpering coming from an alley, where Kokonoi would be bleeding from a gunshot wound.

Kokonoi would think he was delirious with the figure of Seishu. He would raise a red-spattered hand to caress his face, while Seishu would go crazy trying to pick him up and get help. Seishu would take him home when Kokonoi pleaded they couldn't go to a hospital or they would definitely kill him.

Who knew what trouble he would have gotten into, but Seishu would take care of him.

It's interessant to compare Mikey and Shinichiro as leaders. Both have a lot of charisma and attract people. But Mikey is different because he has not the compassion and deep kindness that Shinichiro had, Shinichiro who literally bring both Wakasa and Benkei (who were dangerous people) on his side and changed them for the better. Shinichiro who has never crossed the line, was weak, didn't want to hurt people, always choose his loved ones. People are loyal to Mikey, but it miss something, right?

Honestly, I think Shinichiro was carrying something we don't know about. Just look at those eyes, the dark part underneath. Wakui always uses his eyes to express the emotional state of the characters, just as he has done with Manjiro throughout the manga.

What's with that melancholic look, sir, didn't you sleep well? :c

We can't talk about Shinichiro. We never got his POV, only how he looked through other's eyes, like Seishu's or Takeomi's

There are things we don't know, for example when he says that he left Black Dragons for Manjiro Precisely one of the crazy theories that I thought when I started reading the manga was that he was a time leaper. How did he know to stop Wakasa and Benkei? Why did he leave the Black Dragons "for Manjiro"? Maybe he had someone to protect, like Takemichi has.

On the other hand, maybe this is crazy another theory I thought when I started reading the manga , but I think there's, somehow, a parallel between Takeomi and Akkun. Both are shown surrounded by women, luxuries and money Akkun in the future and Takeomi in the past and then falling into disgrace, Takeomi due to debt and Akkun due to regrets.

I had a lot of crazy stupid theories, yeah

Now we go with Manjiro I think Manjiro is compassionate. He was once.

He forgave Kazutora even though he literally tried to kill him; he forgave Izana even though he also wanted to kill him as well. Already in the Tenjiku arc, Manjiro wanted his family to not break up anymore.

After all, it was Manjiro himself who took everyone away from him so that they could live a happy life, even if it meant slowly killing himself.

At the point where we are now, Manjiro is no longer the same as before, he no longer has the qualities that Shinichiro had and has started to resemble Izana. The Kanto Manji members we'll make an exception for Sanzu for now may follow him because they're afraid of him, in the same way that the Tenjiku members followed Izana for that very reason except for Ran, who admired him, and Kakucho for obvious reasons and the members of Rokuhara with South

Kokonoi himself said that he followed him because it was "like betting on the winning horse"

Manjiro is "alone" right now. Nobody may follow him for the ideals and that makes it easy for the members to abandon him at some point like they abandoned south lol, they literally left like it was nothing

Kokonoi already fights alongside Seishu and some theorize that Takemichi will be able to convince Kakucho to join Tokyo Manji.

Waka is a little more expressive in this chapter. him who was like -_- until recently is more >:( now. And just after Inui mentionned Shin, outch. (and later he closes his eyes when he hits Inui, like he didn't want to see what he does).

Oh yeah, I noticed that :c

Wakasa looks so tired and impotent from the beginning. Benkei looked somehow confident at the start of the fight, and now he looks completely helpless. It's clear that none of them want to be there. The memory of Shinichiro and the way of being of the first generation of Black Dragons is too much for them.

Maybe seishu could take them to his side (? It would be interesting, now we have Kokonoi and other people theorize that Kakucho will move with Takemichi on Tokyo Manji's side

Also, I keep wondering where Takeomi is Or why Wakasa and Benkei weren't in Bonten's future, but Takeomi was
