"What's the matter, Megumi?"
me trying to explain how itadori yuuji a child who valued life and fought for proper death of people had to bear the guilt for killing hundreds of people and he started to believe his existence was the root of all problem because he was the vessel of king of curses and the only person who kept believing in him and kept telling him time and time again that it was okay for him to live was megumi who did not value his own life, who also goes on to become the vessel of sukuna and got his body used to kill the person who taught him to not throw away his life aka his gojo sensei i need to kms after this do you understand

yuuji treating megumi's shikigamis with such adoration and care was the same way that satoru treated suguru's shikigamis.
i genuinely wonder if satoru looks at yuuji whenever he's around megumi's shikigamis and remembers how it was riding suguru's rainbow dragon or making up silly names for them.
even more so if at some point satoru made the shikigamis more bearable for suguru who at first probably didn't even like the idea of them until satoru showed they aren't just monstrous creatures, but familiars that want to help and protect like their masters.
so to have someone like satoru treating suguru's shikigamis or yuuji treating megumi's shikigamis as something precious had to have meant to lot. especially to suguru who would describe consuming the curses as something vile.
i fucking love the parallels.
