I associate the pieces of media I consume with periods of my life because, well, I can't be normal about it. The thing is, everything I read/watch comes at a certain time and I think I really needed a read like The Poppy War Trilogy. I'm so sad, I loved it so much.

Seriously, there are very few authors out there who are able to write about strategy and war without boring the reader, and R. F. Kuang is one of them. It has been so impressive, her writing is absolutely amazing
