Hossam has been in northern Gaza for the last year. He is the voice of 400,000 people being starved, shot at, bombed, kidnapped and burned alive. He is 21 years old.
Difficult to put into words. This suffering cannot be described in English.

if anyone is trying to donate to help in Gaza through orgs, these ones were just banned by the Israeli government with no reason given and can no longer operate in Gaza (at least for now).
these are the orgs: Palestinian Australian New Zealand Medical Association, Glia Project, Palestinian American Bridge, PalMed, Baitulmaal, FAJR, Palestinian American Medical Association, Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund
from what i’ve been told by people who have been working in/coordinating aid in Gaza, Palestinian Red Crescent Society, World Central Kitchen, and Anera are unaffected by this order, but everyone has been limited in what they can bring in. while the middle two aren’t medical orgs, they have been bringing in some medicine. PRCS is a red cross affiliate providing medical care.
(not trying to sway anyone’s donations but wanted to put this out there since PCRF has been the org i’ve recommended several people donate to previously.)
They also explicitly ban medical workers of Palestinian descent from entering Gaza btw
By "easily-achievable", I mean in the 50-60K range and below. Once again, drawing from my pinned list of fundraisers, which have all been vetted by Palestinians on Tumblr (check that post for the proof next to each family name). I'll update this post just like the main list and the "under 1000 donations" list. Many of these are extremely close to completing their funding. Let's help get them there!
As always, donate if you can, reblog if you can't!

Note: The Aburass campaign is in SEK, so the goal is technically 450K, but converted to USD it's closer to 45. Ultimately I decided to include this one since USD, CAD, GBP, and EUR will be more powerful here, and a huge chunk of the site's user base will pay with one of those currencies. The more hands on deck, the better.

the scam allegations against ahmed 90-ghost have reached reddit btw
the tumblr users who circulated and invented them from whole cloth have to be considered not merely irresponsible but also complicit in attempting a witch hunt that flatters israeli hasbara.
HEY DONATE TO HIS FAMILY IF YOU'RE GONNA REBLOG THIS
North Gaza the last few hours
No update on the women
Israel is mass murdering the innocent civilians of Lebanon, especially children.
On Monday (23 September, 2024) Israel killed one person in the country every three minutes.
Thousands more civilians have been wounded.

take a few minutes to donate an eSim if you have $10-34 to spare! the website gives instructions, it's easy and is a tremendous help!
The Palestinian catastrophe (Al-Nakba)
via letstalkpalestine on instagram. I can't fit all of the slides in a single post so I recommend looking at the full thing
there's been another bombing of a school-turned-refugee-shelter in North Gaza. today (September 7), early morning. over 20 people injured or in critical condition, at least 8 martyrs so far. almost every other day i open up the news and North Gaza has been specifically targeted.
iof consistently targets schools and food distribution centers. how much more bombings until you are convinced that this is a pattern? how do i hold your attention? how long until you believe that families in North Gaza need our help now more than ever?
my dear friend Hazem (@hazempalestine) has been working himself to the bone. going from work to school and then back to work. he's barely slept for weeks. just to try and get funds for his family because his campaign has been STAGNATING. and he doesn't want his family to lose their evacuation fund by using it to buy extremely expensive food.
Hazem, like many of us, is just in his mid-20s. he hasn't been able to see his family (vetted #281) in 6 years. please help him keep his 5 younger siblings and his parents safe.
Despite the amount of reblogs THERE HAS ONLY BEEN ONE DONATION IN TWO HOURS. Please don’t look away. Hazem needs our help. His siblings need our help.
Donate to a Palestinian family directly:
Help provide tents:
Food:
Water (*urgent and crucial!)
eSIMs (highly needed):
Medical Aid:
When I've seen El shab hussein and others do so much work to compile and make it easier for people to donate to verified gofundmes and others create raffles for them and using all their earnings for their art on gofundmes it makes me feel like it should encourage us all to do more and to keep doing more and not slow down
I encourage many of you to look through the list and pick one you believe you can maintain pushing for on your blog!
Because I needed the reminder and maybe you do too: the best way to deal with political frustration is to do something.
A real and immediate impact you can have that will directly help a Palestinian is to buy an eSIM and send it to [email protected]. This allows Gazans to access mobile data so they can get news out and keep in touch with their friends and family.
If you have never done this before, here is a step by step guide, complete with discount codes. It is slightly technical but still fairly easy (imo, ymmv). If you can't/don't want to buy one directly, you can donate to Crips for eSIMs and they will buy one on your behalf.
You don't have to top up the eSIMs when they get low/run out, but I find it comforting to do so. It means somebody is still alive, and that you've made a hellish experience a tiny bit less terrible.
They get over a thousand requests for connection a day, but their email inbox is regularly sitting at 300-500 eSims. With the bombardment of Rafah and continual internet blackouts, the need for more eSims is particularly urgent.
Even if you have already sent an eSim or donated to an eSim donation drive, there is more you can do. The team is calling for people to campaign in their communities to help spread the word about eSims and encourage donations.
You can help by printing out posters and putting them up in local businesses, on telephone poles and notice boards, or wherever people are likely to see them.
[ID: Poster headed “eSIMs for Gaza” with an illustration of a red poppy, a QR code, and a link to tinyurl.com/gaza-esims; copy reads “Sending eSIMs is an immediate, concrete way to help Gazans on the ground. Scan below to learn how you can get involved.” End ID]
(For a black and white flyer on A4 / 8.5 x 11" printer paper, just print out the black and white poster: the extra white margin space won't matter.)
Or make your own poster, pamphlet, or protest sign with one of these QR codes:
