“Style”
People often asking me how do I get my « style » what are my inspirations and so on. I do have a lot of inspirations. But what mainly build up my style is what I decided to learn by myself and not from books, of course I can recommend a some good anatomy books/websites.
But what shapes your vision is how you decide to understand things, almost every artists will tell you that a good understanding of anatomy is important and so on. I don't think so, at least that's how I built up my vision. My understanding of anatomy or anything else is bad.
Learning things by yourself forces to understand what you can and not everything that it is given to you. AND how you can interpret it.
I understood a long time ago: it's impossible to know everything.
My art style is a balance about what I understand, what I want to understand, what I will never understand, stuffs that I interpreted wrong and deal with it.
Style is just defining how you want to see and understand the world. It might be technically good or bad. It's not about that, it's about how good you are convincing people that you're vision can be something they like.
