Forgot I had the day off but hey at least I got to finish this; of course I had to draw Starbuck next.
Started watching Battlestar Galactica (1978) so of course I had to draw some of the characters. Starting off we got Apollo.
Sci Fi Oc no. 2, Hugo aka ‘Cub’
He’s an arrogant hot shot pilot in training. Would be the rising star in his class if it wasn’t for the fact that every single one of his simulator flights ends with him dying / sacrificing himself in some heroic way. Obsessed with space. He’s lowkey a sweetheart once you make it past his hard shell, don’t tell him that, he’ll probably yell at you.
Falls in love with Eden (once he gets his shit together).
Watching the original Battlestar Galactica show with my sister somehow spiraled into brainstorming our own sci fi story and a bunch of new OCs were born.
This is Eden (they/them) one of the characters from said story and when I tell you I am obsessed with them I mean it. My brain has been unable to think about anything but them for like a week straight.
Bringing them back because I missed drawing them so much.
I’m getting some traffic on my Hogans Heroes comic snippet again ⤵️
so I thought now is a good time to say that I am definitely still going to draw it, my plan was to do it over the summer however if you follow my main account, you know I got a new job so I had to put the comic on hold for a while as I got into the rhythm of working and finding time to draw.
My new plan is to rewrite the comic slightly (which may lead to the snippet scene being cut out which is kinda sad but the plot might actually benefit from it) over the next few months and hopefully start posting the first pages early in the new year. Also, since it’s the shows 60th anniversary next year, I was thinking about printing a few copies / or putting together a PDF to sell. The money would be 100% donated ofc.
I will do a poll later to see if there’s any interest in that.

I decided I’m gonna continue to mash up all of my styles on this blog bc to be honest I don’t see why I should make a separate account for my graphic design stuff on top of my fanart and OC / original art stuff. So just a heads up if I post a certain style / fandom / character a couple of times in a row, I didn’t abandon my other art styles I just hit a time where I feel most comfortable drawing in that style and growing my skills but I probably circle back to another style again soon. 🤗

Listen, Tumblr fried the quality out of my last drawing but also?? I kinda like the pixilated look. It might not be everyone’s fave but I always loved a rough brush so really, I’m not complaining 🤷🏻♀️
