i have this absolutely terrible tradition of listening to when by dodie on my birthday to just. make myself miserable i guess???
season 5 episode 22 swan song’s whole opening chuck monologue is about the impala being produced and coming off of the production line at Chevrolet and how it wasn’t a big deal. until it was bought by john winchester and then she was the biggest deal ever and holds all of the fond childhood memories that end up saving the world. castiel helps save the world. he defied the Host’s orders and follows what he thinks is right to save one human. and castiel came off the line with a crack in his chassis.
is this anything?? something about the production line and the imperfections in both the impala (the legos in the ac, the soldier boys in the ash tray) and cas (love. so much love) as they come off of their genesis being what is inevitably special about them, what saves the world
