“Peter?” Tony took a step forward, the boy looked frightened stepping out from behind the titan Thanos.
“Mr.Stark?” Peter ran over to his father figure and wrapped his arms around him. Tony held the top of the boys head and comforted him.
“It’s okay, you are safe. We can keep you safe.”
“Safe.” Peter’s voice turned cold and his grip on Tony tightened. “You didn’t keep me safe before, did you Tony Stark.”
Tony started realize how tight the boy’s grip was and he pushed the boy off him. “Peter?”
He stumbled back laughing and looked up with a smirk, his eyes completely black.
“Peter can’t come to the phone right now.”

In one of the first Spider-Man issues, Peter Parker wanted to join the Fantastic Four so he could get money and had this whole elaborate plan to get into their headquarters and show off his stuff. So after this like long fight where he totally kicked butt he finds out that the Fantastic Four is a nonprofit organization and I've never seen anyone jump out of a building so fast.
