A gift for my love @theywhowriteandknowthings !! They’re writing a bit of Dincobb in my honor and I am so fucking excited, so I did this sketch of a lil intimate moment between these two ;) and although it’s not explicit there’s a fuller version under the cut for y’all! (I’m cautious these days)

One day I’m going to come up with a good idea for a Poe Dameron fic. One damn day. 🫠 I wish it would come sooner rather than later.

@nerdieforpedro Hmmmm… okay here is a Poe idea for ya:

Somehow Poe gets thrown into Din’s timeline (with BB8 because we can’t take away the little one!) and finds himself on Tattooiene. Things happen, Poe ends up in Mos Pelgo, which is Freetown by then. Maybe he’s somehow involved with the Dust Vipers/Spice runners from TBOBF - since I believe it’s canon that Poe ran some spice at some point right? Could be either trying to stop them, or rob them, or maybe he does run with them… something.

Enter Cobb Vanth. Many options here, particularly depending on which side (of the law?) Poe and Cobb find themselves, and whether Cobb already got shot, etc. But in the end it boils down to them becoming a couple or at the very least fuck buddies.

Enter Din. Or rather, he returns. He and Cobb had a thing (helloooo, it’s canon) for however long or casual or “whenever you’re in town/on Tattooiene. Now he’s back for X-reason, only to find his boyfriend/fuckbuddy hooked up with a pretty flyboy with dat ass from the future, and He Feels A Certain Way About That.

Again- many directions to take this one into. Is Din gonna make up a mission that he needs Cobb for and while they are away try to get him ‘back’? Or, does Cobb want Din - and decides to make him feel really jealous? Or do they end up as a throuple?

And then what if all of a sudden through the same whatever thingie/way that Poe ended up there in that time line, all of a sudden Finn appears? Again, options. Either FinnPoe was together already (again, canon), so all of a sudden he now finds Poe in a new relationship (bc time has passed) with a Marshall and potentially also a Mandalorian? Or if they weren’t an item yet, then perhaps Finn sees whatever situationship Poe is in and realizes that he waited too long and now has to tell him that he really does want to be with him. Or the other way around- maybe Poe, despite being in a relationship with Cobb (and potentially Din) realizes that it’s always been Finn for him, and perhaps he wants to break up w Cobb(or DinCobb) to be with Finn.

Or maybe they become either a polycule or a quad?

These are all excellent ideas, but you’re asking me to do calculus when I haven’t mastered addition. 😭😭😭😭 There’s so many relationships and layers. The level of difficulty. 😣
