so there are non-sam mspec lesbian, non-sam mspec turian, non-sam mesque, sam mspec lesbian, sam mspec turian, and sam mesque flags, and as someone who identifies as both, i wanted to combine the flags! i personally use certain mspec turian labels in a non-sam way, certain ones in a sam way, and certain ones both ways, and i figured there might be others with similar experiences.
these flags are for lunians (mspec lesbians), solians (mspec turians), and mesques (mspec lesbian + mspec turian folks) who use those labels as both a way to describe split attraction and a way to describe non-split attraction! for example, an omniromantic bisexual homosexual man might identify as a non-sam + sam solian!
the non-sam + sam lunian flag can also be called the mariana mspec lesbian, mariana lunian, or mariana lesbian flag; the non-sam + sam solian flag can also be called the bonfire mspec turian/veldian, bonfire solian, or bonfire turian/veldian flag; and the non-sam + sam mesque flag can be called the hydrothermal mesque flag! i tried to combine the names of the non-sam and sam flags, so i combined ‘deep space’ and ‘shallow water’ into the mariana trench, the deepest oceanic trench, ‘phoenix’ and ‘wooden’ into a bonfire, and then the concepts of the mariana trench and a bonfire into hydrothermal, a word for heated water!

these flags are for lunians (mspec lesbians), solians (mspec turians), and mesques (mspec lesbian + mspec turian folks) who use those labels as a way to describe split attraction. for example, a homoromantic bisexual man might identify as a sam solian!
because the non-sam lunian flag leaned purple, i decided to make the sam lunian flag lean blue-green, since the lunian flag features both colors. same with the sam solian flag - the non-sam solian flag leans yellow/orange, so the sam solian flag leans brown! the sam mesque flag combines colors from both in order to span a lot of colors like the mesque flag.
the sam lunian flag can also be called the tidepool mspec lesbian, tidepool lunian, or tidepool lesbian flag; the sam solian flag can also be called the wooden mspec turian/veldian, wooden solian, or wooden turian/veldian flag; and the sam mesque flag can be called the driftwood mesque flag! i tried to choose sort of ‘opposite’ terms from their non-sam counterparts, so ‘tidepool’ for lunian (shallow water as opposed to deep space), ‘wooden’ for solian (something that can be destroyed by fire as opposed to a phoenix, which is rebirthed by fire), and combined the two into ‘driftwood’ for mesque!
