for anon! the flags use colors from the sportyaesic, gendervir shadowturian, and butch pan gaybian flags. the terms are 'sportyaesi' from 'sportyaesic', 'shad' from 'shadow', 'rian' from 'turian', + 'vir' from 'gendervir' and 'sportyaesi', 'vela' from 'velaurian' (since it looked better than part of 'gaybian'), 'bu' from 'butch', + 'pan'!

transvir: 7 stripes | 7 stripes alternate | 4 stripes transera: 7 stripes | 7 stripes alternate | 4 stripes

transvir: an umbrella term for all afab* people whose gender(s) is/are male-adjacent, male-aligned, male-identified, and/or male. a subset of transmasculine that specifies that one identifies as male in some way, which can be used as a single-word adjective version of ‘trans man’ (ex: ‘i’m transvir’)

transera: an umbrella term for all amab* people whose gender(s) is/are female-adjacent, female-aligned, female-identified, and/or female. a subset of transfeminine that specifies that one identifies as female in some way, which can be used as a single-word adjective version of ‘trans woman’ (ex: ‘i’m transera’)

*both of these terms are inclusive of intersex people who are not afab/amab but have similar/the same experiences as trans men/women nonetheless

more new gendervir/genderera terms! i personally am fine with the term transmasculine, but i know some trans men who don’t consider their genders masculine/identify with masculinity, don’t plan to go through a ‘masculine’ transition, or otherwise don’t feel fully described by transmasculine, and i assume there are some trans women out there who feel the same. i figured these could be welcome alternatives for people like that, as well as useful terms for those who do still consider themselves transmasc/transfem but also want to specify their trans male/female identity or be able to describe that identity with a specific adjective!

the first flags are based on these transmasculine and transfeminine flags, the second remove the stripes associated with one’s assigned gender for those who prefer not to reference that, and the four-stripe flags are based on these. i wanted versions based on the more commonly-used transmasc and transfem flags as well as alternatives for those who want them!

kenoera: a female-adjacent, female-aligned, and/or female-identified gender that is centered around the idea of kenopsia; a multigender or other combination of at least one genderera term and at least one kenochoric term; a kenochoric-in-nature (kein) gendereraness

kenoavire a male- and female-adjacent, male- and female-aligned, and/or male-and female-identified gender that is centered around the idea of kenopsia; a multigender or other combination of at least one genderavire term and at least one kenochoric term; a kenochoric-in-nature (kein) genderavireness

more new gendervir/genderera terms and my first new genderavire term! i haven’t yet posted any other genderavire flags (i’m working on them at the moment), so this is a sort of sneak peek at the color scheme i’ll be using for them.

figured this term would be useful! based on my panvir and apangender redesigns.

virfluid | demivirfluid | viritrumflux attravir | incognivir | nullvir obscuvir | quoivir | virpunk

third set of gendervir redesigns! i did coin one of these - demivirfluid!

virfluid: fluidity between male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male genders

demivirfluid (new term): one part of a gendervir identity is static while the other is fluid

viritrumflux: a fluctuating gender that is part gender neutral and part male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male

attravir:  being both gendervir and an orientationgender

incognivir: being partially male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male, but unsure of the other part

nullvir: the undefinable, intangible, nullification and uncreation of gender in the scope of being male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male, either partially or fully. a male-related identity that’s nonexistent or present; a vir-gendered void.

obscuvir: an undefined or ambiguous gendervir identity

quoivir: someone who may be male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male, but feels that gender identity and/or existing gender terms don’t quite apply to them; someone whose relationship with malehood; someone who isn’t sure whether they experience malehood or what malehood means for them; someone who is male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male, but doesn’t care much for gender as a concept; an alternative to ‘questioning’ that communicates exhaustion or frustration with searching for a better male-related gender identity term for oneself

virpunk: a colloquial term within the scope of male-adjacent/male-aligned/male identities for a culture of resistance against gendernormativity; a male-adjacent, male-aligned, and/or male identity that in and of itself is a resistance against gender norms, homophobia, transphobia, oppression, and societal status
