aurora-aligned + apanvir flag for @mnyeh-like!
second half of the cosmoic alignment flag redesigns! i also decided to coin another alignment to make this a set of six flags and round out the system to be a dozen terms, so the last flag and term in this set, comet-aligned, is a new one!
planet-aligned | lunar-aligned asteroid-aligned | singularity-aligned quantum-aligned | comet-aligned
planet-aligned: a stable, solid, warm alignment thriving with liveliness. it’s associated with weather patterns and gravitational forces and may align with sunlight or darkness.
lunar-aligned: a quiet, slow, cold alignment with a fixed course through space. it’s associated with water and lunar eclipses and may align with softness or grace.
asteroid-aligned: an erratic, unpredictable, cold alignment that may feel like it’s far away from other alignments.
singularity-aligned: a small, enigmatic, red-hot alignment that has the potential to be something bigger. it may indicate questioning alignment rather than being sure.
quantum-aligned: a paradoxical alignment that is both known and unknown, present and absent. may be complex or simple, and may overlap with many other alignments or none at all.
comet-aligned: an icy-cold, quick-moving alignment that has the potential to warm up as it gets close to other alignments.
@nerdpiggy asked for a redesign of the nebula-aligned flag, and i decided to redesign all of the cosmoic alignment flags! this is the first half of the set, the rest will be posted later today.
void-aligned | constellation-aligned nebula-aligned | aurora-aligned stellar-aligned | supernova-aligned
void-aligned: a formless, dark, and frigid alignment that is associated with black holes and deep space. it may be unaligned or reject alignment altogether.
constellation-aligned: a cold, multifaceted alignment that is complex, solid, and associated with starlight and astrology. it may feel as though the individual parts of the alignment make up one larger alignment.
nebula-aligned: a fluid, colorful, and bright alignment that floats slowly through the cold void of space. it is associated with the alignment of supernovae and with stars, and may often feel cloudy or intangible.
aurora-aligned: a fluctuating, colorful, and bright alignment that swirls through the temperate atmosphere. it is associated with solar winds, magnetic fields, and planet earth.
stellar-aligned: a large, hot, and bright alignment with a fixed course through space. it is associated with light and solar eclipses and may be loud and boisterious.
supernova-aligned: a huge, red-hot alignment that seems to expand rapidly in all directions. it is associated with stars and may feel like it’s burning up other alignments around it.
The Cosmoic Alignments
This is a repost of the original flags and definitions of the Cosmoic Alignment system, for the sake of saving and archiving these terms for further usage and additions in the future. The original coining, terms, and flags, were made by the-gender-collecter-emself, who got called out on various things a while back and is now a private blog. A reblog of the original post can be found here, but the source is no longer accessible.
The Cosmoic Alignments are a space-themed alignment system that’s completely independent from inherent masculinity, femininity, or neutrality, and instead have an “abstract” feel to them. They do not have to be used as a xenogender, and can be used by any person, whether they have no gender or a lot of genders.
Examples of using the cosmoic alignments would be: “I am a cosmoic nonbinary person. My alignment is stellar. I am a stellar-aligned nonbinary person.”
The original flags and alignments can be found below the cut.
