Sitting here, trying to eat dinner, when suddenly.... #cat
Popeye is my buddy at work, he lives in the clinic and has a snaggle tooth and a wonky eye from an injury before the hospital took him in. I brush him daily cause he gets bad dandruff and so he always comes back to just sit and watch me work, wait for attention. Occasionally he gets impatient and stands up and reeeeeaches his paw out. Or gets chatty.
Yo I may not have done a lot but I really think it looks fucking cute.
I made this .gif better.
I cant find the source so if someone knows it please shove it in.
I also can’t decide if I like the little pause on eyes closed or not.
I see this in the tiger tag all the time and it causes me physical pain every time.
This is a leopard.
Say hello to MAX the bobcat!

Fortunately not true. The IUCN lists them as near threatened(therefore more than 116) with no solid number on their populations, while the Feline Conservation Federation says there are ~11,000 left in the wild. Threatened, but still better than 116, yes?
I like to try and imagine what damages the bones these ways. The animal, already perished and gone, still suffers the traumas of this world.
Wow, after I glued the mandible back together I figured out why this cat had no upper incisors & they appeared to be ground down to the roots. The cat had a pretty significant underbite! This is the same skull I previously posted that I said was more stout than usual & posted comparison photos. Had this cat had a larger skull would the lower jaw have fit? Or would it have just become an even larger mandible with an underbite? Interesting osteology find. (at http://bone-lust.blogspot.com)
