((Sorry for the delayed response, Been takin' a bit of time away from tumblr, because I tend to get stuck in a scrolling loop whenever I log on XP))

I did REALLY enjoy writing that fic 8D I... could see playing with them actually acknowledging A Thing happened, and exploring it deliberately :3 Not sure when I'll get to it, but it shall percolate my mind ^.^

Legace played WELL. There were SO many BEAUTIFUL saves tonight. He got a lot of support from his defense, and they played HARD. It was a good game. Even inexperienced, he only let in two goals. I don’t think he’s ever going to be Vegas’s best goalie, but he’s holding his own now he’s gotten his feet wet.

The trick is, we need offense. As I just mentioned in my previous post, our top scorer has ten points, and excepting the NUTSO game against the Avs, he hasn’t put up a single point in over five games. And again, excepting that game against the Avs, our highest goal differential is 3, and most of our games are only won by a single goal.

I’ll freely admit these are SMALL scale statistics, made even smaller by the fact we’ve gone through so many goalies, we aren’t playing with the same team. At ALL.

I want to get Legace a win, but unless we put up the points, it won’t matter how good he is or isn’t.

Hey, Nonners 8D There’s no character in Check Please! That’s really based solely off of one hockey player irl, but there’s definitely some pretty clear “inspired by” moments, at least in my opinion XD

I’m pretty sure that Jack Zimmerman is an amalgamation of Sidney Crosby and Jonathan Toews, but with a healthy dose of his own personality and backstory.

Tater’s probably the closest analog to an actual hockey player in that he reminds me SO MUCH of Geno, but he’s also got a bit of Ovechkin in him.

Bittle has a TINY bit of Patrick Kane in him, in so far as he’s notably short and kinda blond, but that’s about it XP (ZERO Kaner personality transfer, so the physical resemblance is probably coincidental on that one)

Edit: Parson is Kaner, probs? *shrug* I’ve thought he acts and looks a lot like him at least, but like... there are enough guys in the league that you'll be able to find SOMETHING that fits XP

I don’t know real life hockey quite well enough to weigh in all THAT much on others, but I’d love to chat with you about it more, Nonners 8D

This list is weird. Freely admitting that. I’ve been having a weird month, and strange, probably unrelateable things have been helping me through it. *shrug* thanks for letting me ramble.

PENGUINS~! - Yeah, I blame the podfic fandom for this one ENTIRELY XD Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are SO talented and so funny and I dunno, I have feels for them and their team like I haven’t since I discovered Kradam for the first time XD
Kradam - Fuggit. I’ll put them on here XD I haven’t read a Kradam fic in a week or two, but the chemistry between those two, and the stories that came out of their friendship back in 2010... I’m just sad I didn’t find this fandom until it was mostly gone.
Picross - Seriously, if you like logic puzzles, you NEED to check this site out. I’ve been using this site as such a fucking coping mechanism the last few months. It’s NUTS. I love this game. I can listen to my fic, play my little logic game and all the pressure can just back the fuck off. I’m GOOD at this. if nothing else.
FOOD!!! 8D - I’ve always had a weird relationship with food, but lately I’ve been enjoying trying some new stuff, my Katsudon experiment a couple weeks back went REALLY well 8D and I’ve made onsen eggs several times since then. In FACT, I have a batch in the oven right now that’s supposed to be ready in about twenty minutes 8D I’m looking forward to lunch XD
Yuri!!! On ICE - because of COURSE I couldn’t leave Yoi out ^.^ These characters, this fandom. You guys are the fucking BEST!! 8D The Crop Tops! the domesticity, ~~the porn~~. I mean. whut? o.o Viktor and Yuuri and the way they’re just... So GOOD and sweet and they support each other and their friends and their friends support them. and it’s all REAL! It’s canon and not in a crazy way just... *flails* I could probably make a list of five things that make me happy from this fandom alone XP

He fisted the letter that broke his heart in one hand and pressed the other to his eyes, fighting back the urge to sob. “No… Please… You gave me everything,” he whispered the empty, dead stillness of the empty house. “I love you.”
