Wibbly-Wobbly Ramblings

i know i keep dumping some real bummer taz scenarios on tumblr but please, please consider: taako started wearing skirts right after lup transitioned. 

because like, she was like ‘hey i’m a girl now’ and taako was like ‘well shit that’s cool’ and went and blew all his (their) gold on like the frilliest, girliest monstrosity of a skirt he could find and was like ‘aw fuck yeah, lup’s gonna love this, it has sparkles, it has tassles, it has ruffles, it has lace, this thing is like if a girl unicorn barfed and then a girl fairy crocheted that barf into a fetching little knee-high bundle of flounce for girls’ but he shows it to lup, beaming proudly, and lup’s just like

‘no’

he’s like ‘what the fuck this is like the most perfect skirt in the world and you’re saying no?’ and she’s like

‘yeah ok i take that back, pumpkin, what i meant to say was fuck no’ 

and taako is like. he is so offended. he is so fucking offended. he went and bought the hands down number one supreme skirt in all of reality for his dearest new sister, and she snubs it. she just won’t even fucking touch it. he’s so mad he takes off his pants like right there and puts the skirt on himself. then he follows her around fuming for like the rest of the day. this is the best skirt ever made and he’s going to show her and she’ll be so jealous she’ll be like ‘damn, taako, that’s genuinely a responsible use of the last of our dough, can i use it to adorn my totally ungrateful body with perhaps’ but no, he won’t share, SHE BLEW IT. 

five skirts and six increasingly absurd taako taantrums later, lup yells ‘WHY DON’T YOU JUST BUY THE DAMN THINGS FOR YOURSELF IN THE FIRST PLACE?’ and taako goes

‘oh’

and settles the fuck down. 

but it doesn’t stop being funny to watch people look at taako’s flouncy skirts, then his chest, then lup’s chest, then lup’s totally sensible pants, then their identical mean grins, and back away nervously before their gender performance can shade from ‘confusing’ to ‘lethal’.
