White Man from San Diego Waves Gun Around Small Children In Confrontation With Police and Is Taken Into Custody Alive.

This white man walked towards the police with a gun pointed at them and they spend half an hour talking to him before they shoot him one time. If he had been a black man, they would’ve shot him dead. Before you police apologists claim this man has a history of mental illness (he does) that’s why the police was lenient, Ezell Ford, a mentally ill black man, was recently killed by the LAPD.

Let’s not forget the twelve year old who was killed Saturday, November 21st in a park for having a BB gun and cops shot him dead when he had his hands in the air. RIP Tamir Rice. #blacklivesmatter

If men just want to say “hi,” why do they only target women?

Whenever we have a conversation about street harassment, one side often proclaims that men who holler at women are doing it out of the kindness of their own hearts. If men are truly just trying to be “nice” and “friendly” when they harass women on the street, why do they only target women? If it really isn’t about being predatory, entitled and anything remotely sexual, then why aren’t straight men striking up these conversations and yelling things at men too?

I for one, think this is a major improvement. Look how empowered he is! And it’s relevant to the character as someone who is powered by the sun, he’d want to maximize the amount of sunlight he receives, right? It’s not like it makes sense for him to cover himself from chin to toe. In fact, I think some strappy sandals might be an improvement.
