i wanna shout out the top picture — the skull quilt was so cool first of all & it’s ALSO the artists FIRST QUILT??? it was so incredibly cool & detailed I rly loved it. i also wanna point out the last quilt here, all of these flowers are applique & i had so much trouble keeping from TOUCHING it (which ur not allowed to do ofc). it was so gorgeous. the close up square above it is from the same quilt. just wow!

People often look at the tags on my handmade goods and declare that my prices are outrageous. I did the math and THIS is what that handmade beanie you want for $10 ACTUALLY cost to make.
So if you see that $30 on the label, be courteous. Know that I am paying myself far, far less than minimum wage in labor ($2.22 per hour, to be exact) to even come to such a supposedly ghastly price. I can't take that $10 for a hat because no one can live on $0.37 an hour, much less sustain a business.
Handmade goods aren't overpriced, people just undervalue the hard work and years of skill artists put into them.
Honestly. This is exactly right. And if you’re fighting for 15 imagine what this would cost. Small businesses are not exempt

Hi, everybody, I’m Logan-Michael, and I need to get my Etsy store off the ground. I’m autistic and still in school, making finding work difficult, made extra-hard by me being trans and out. And when I can find a job, it usually gives me sensory overload.
This really sucks to put myself through over and over! But, I have an Etsy store!!
Right now, even though there’s lots that I’m planning to make and sell, the only thing there is flower crowns, but they are really good flower crowns!
They look super stylish, too! (Ignore my face I saw a spider just as I took the picture and it’s the best one I have RN.)
I’ve worn these things in bad storms and really hot weather and I’ve crushed them by accident, they recover fine because they are durable and I make them with love.
I really need to save up money this next year so I can get out of my house and hopefully start transitioning properly, and move in with my friends.
But I need to save up money, and to save money, I need to make money! And to make money, I need my shop noticed.
