Romantic fuji (wisteria) themed kimono outfit by Berry Koubou. I love how the butterflies of the haneri collar seem to flutter among the flowers
Artist: Rieko Morita
“ ”Jigoku Dayu" … Sayume Tachibana … Active from the Taisho era to the early Showa period, and was also described as “Japanese Beardsley”.“ Text by BON@1632bdkrst
“This sunrise work coordination Striped antique kimono, bamboo grass and obi apron towel with spring orchid pattern are bats and spider webs. The color seen from the cuffs is cute (* ´◒ ”*). I don’t have much blue kimono, almost blue yukata (゜∀゜). Kimono, obi, three-quarter string: Modoribashi“. 緑🌈ツイステ沼(*ˇωˇ*人) 自作帯留京都ライト商会三条店販売中@SevGreen0326

“Dawn” shibori furisode, printed kimono inspired by a digital photography by Sagimori Aguri for Gofukuya. They also released a “morning haze” version:

“Oiran around the cultural period, Shrimp shop Sushino. The head is Shimada. The gesture of covering the mouth with a fan is elegant. A kimono with running water and Yamabuki flowers, and a dynamic obi with a flower pattern on a black background. Based on a woodblock print by Kikukawa Eizan.” Text and artwork by 撫子凛*お江戸ファッション図鑑(マール社)発売中@nadeshicorin
Furisode Sailor Senshi, art by Mzhbank. I am utterly in love with Jupiter and Venus’ whole outfits <3
Fantastic formal outfit (OP wore it for New Year), pairing this breathtaking black furisode depicting oshidori (mandarin ducks) and hato (doves) under yukimochi-ume (snow covered plum branches) + a matching oshidori obi tied in fukura suzume (”puffed sparrow”) knot.
Like doves in the West, oshidori ducks are a symbol of eternal love and fidelity. Because of this, I think this furisode is probably technically a kakeshita (bridal furisode worn under uchikake coat). But, bridal or not, it is far too amazing to be left in a drawer!
“Ooku maid, style in case of emergency. (It seems to be a scene of evacuating to a big fire) The appearance of holding a naginata in a Riko Uchikara hat (Nashiuchi Eboshi) is brave, and it is exactly a samurai woman! cool. And the contrast of the white belt with the bamboo pattern on the furisode with black crest is beautiful.” [google translation]
