The best-deleted scene in any Godzilla movie:
I was able to restore another deleted scene from Godzilla vs Biollante. Here Godzilla has just defeated B’s Rose form on their first battle, but instead of moving on with the movie the scene continues. Godzilla was about to resume his rampage when some of Biollante’s spores landed in the surrounding forest, causing thousands of magnificent flowers to bloom. The entire landscape is bathed in color and everything goes quiet allowing Biollante’s theme to takeover. Godzilla is taken aback, seemingly overcome with emotion and is momentarily lost in thought. Letting go of his rage and no longer willing to fight, he quietly disappears beneath the waves leaving the city in peace.
This is perhaps the first and only time Godzilla felt grief/regret for destroying another monster. The exact reason for this kind gesture is never truly explained but was meant to be interpreted like this. Biollante was his clone sister and with the limited time they had to communicate, an unconscious bond had been formed between the two kaiju. They were the only creatures they could relate to and with their existence came mutual suffering, symbolized by her literal gift of flowers. Which was enough to truly reach Godzilla emotionally and would be the only time we see a gentle side to his character until he adopts Godzilla Junior. This scene was solely cut for runtime but did actually occur in the manga as well as an alternate ending, where the bond between the monsters comes into fruition.
(Heisei series always had the best character-building for humans/monsters)

Out of all the kaijus that Godzilla has faced, both good and bad, which is your favorite?
Oh no, now that I’ve learned about so many of these kaiju, I think I have several favorites. The main classic opponent/villains are must favorites, of course. Mothra, Rodan, King Ghidorah...
But out of the ‘new to me’ kaiju opponents Godzilla went up against, from the movies I’ve recently seen, I’d say my favorites are:
Biollante *sobbing*
Kiryu [Mechagodzilla 2003] *gross sobbing*
MUTO [they both are awesome but Hokmuto is my most fave of the two]
Final Wars Gigan
maybe Orga???....it was so bizzare and unique...and that ending omg
A few others maybe, but these are the ones that stand out as some of my favorite opponents...I still have the Showa Era to watch so I’ll wait on those. And I have favorite allies and good kaiju too, but I’ll save that for another list.

One of the most infamous, dangerous and powerful kaiju of all: Destoroyah!
This one has, so far, been the most challenging kaiju I’ve re-imagined into a gijinka/human design! A terrifying warrior of destruction and chaos! The setting is based on the epic scene in the last act of the film, when Destoroyah appears in his final form!! The movie is astounding, and terrifying, I see why it’s a fan favorite, and I shed tears watching the King of the Monsters meet his end. :(
