what the fuck is wrong with you?
You are not guiltless of the results no matter if another is 100% responsible for their own actions, you are just as responsible for your speech, which includes your clothes, whether you like it or not.

she didn’t say his name and neither should you. he doesn’t deserve our thoughts or our attention. she does.
say her name instead. thank her for her grace, her strength, her courage, and her candor.
this is her story. and the takeaway from it is simple: love should never hurt. domestic violence is never okay.
there are so many abuse survivors out there, and current abuse victims, who have not and may never feel comfortable opening up about their experiences- and for good reason. but melissa was able. even with so many eyes across the world watching her, even under such a harsh spotlight as a celebrity and public figure, she had the courage and resilience to leave her abuser and now she has finally worked up the sheer superhero strength that it takes to open up about it.
she did this not only for herself and her healing, but for all the survivors out there who have been silenced. who are not in a place where they can or are able or even want to speak about their trauma, which is understandable considering the scope of abuse that so many people out there have withstood.
"Aladdin, we can't keep it a secret from her forever."
"And why not?"
"Most of my councilors are already demanding I name Ali as my heir. They'll be watching Mira's every move, just waiting for her to make a mistake that proves she's not worthy enough to be the next Sultana."
"So you're saying we should just give up trying to make her queen? We promised ourselves and her that we would never let her doubt herself and what she has the ability to become."
"No, I'm saying we need to prepare her for what's coming, and that means telling her that she's adopted."
Step aside, Earthlings! The queen of the galaxy has arrived.
