Re: hair dye, store bought box dye is generally considered to be poor quality compared to professional grade salon colour. However depending on where you live may be able to buy professional colour to use on yourself. I'm pretty sure in the US you guys have beauty supply stores and ppl can help you buy like the same colours that hairdressers would use in a salon? Also if you buy professional colour you know what you're getting (e.g a level 6 neutral cream colour + 10 volume developer) but if you buy box dye the cream colour may not necessarily match the front of the box, you won't know what volume developer you're getting, etc. Hope this helps 😊
