Earlier today I got tickets to go to Infinity War next Sunday... so I drew a Thanos to celebrate.
Just watched Shazam! Loved it! I’m so glad it’s received so warmly!
Also Captain Marvel reached a billion! YES!
Behold... I present to you... GOOSEFIELD
...
I am so sorry
Yup! Watched Captain Marvel and... to my surprise... I loved it! Specifically Carol herself. Her humor, her drive and her entire personality were gifts that could’ve only been delivered by Brie Larson imo.
In fact... I enjoy her here in the movie a lot more than her comics incarnation for some reason.
Also thanks @science-jumps and @maplesamurai for getting me hyped about this xD
Welp... Today was the premiere of Captain Marvel here in Indonesia... Aaaaaand it was booked for almost an entire day in my local theatre.
Welp. Had to make a comic out of the experience.
In Celebration of Black Panther’s Best Picture nomination. As a comicbook fan, be it superheroes, indie or graphic novels in general, living to see a Superhero movie get a nomination for Best Picture for the FIRST TIME ever feels SUPER good :D
Yes... this shall be my masterpiece... Thanos’ glorious chinnnnn
I’m so sorry...
So I watched Spider-Man Homecoming, and I absolutely LOVED the movie!
It’s perhaps my favorite Spider-man movie to date, narrowly, narrowly, edging out Spiderman 2.
The reason why is a lot of factors:
The interactions of Spider-Man and Tony felt SO natural, and in no way does Tony feel shoe-horned; instead he feels like a natural part of Peter’s world, and their bonding moments just... ARGH! I AM SO READY FOR PATERNAL TONY FICS!!
The presence of other marvel characters and events feel like their literally ripped from a Spiderman comic. I mean, Captain America PSAs, and the fact that illegal alien-weapon arms dealing is a thing... And just like comics it’s a direct consequence of the aftermath of the Chitauri invasion, and what happens to ordinary folk with their ordinary jobs. Combined with the above, this makes Homecoming having the most “comic-book feel” of all the movies.
Tom Holland’s performance as Peter Parker was perfect. He gives out the inner human awkwardness of a teenage Parker so well, all the vulnerabilities and yet all his heroic spirit as well.
Michael Keaton as Vulture is now officially my fav marvel villain. I mean, he’s a legit BADASS, but one with a lot of depth as well. He really loves his family and would do anything to protect his family... but with bad methods.
I could gush more about why Spider Man Homecoming is such a great film, but I have a presentation to practice for tomorrow so I have to cut it a bit short xD
Cheers Everyone!
P.S. I took two reference covers for this one... the other one was a Deadpool cover. xD
