It’s Indonesian Independence Day 1! A bit more on the bittersweet side, as much like as we pride ourselves on our diversity, just like the biodiversity we tout and support... I can never shake off the feeling that we, as a country, is more fragile than we think of.

Our diversity is something beautiful. Best we try to preserve it.

Zbrush WIP pwogress! My mates from DA knows who this guy is, but for Tumblr folks, this is my original kaiju from waaaaaay back, named Jovis. He’s part of my world building project, about an alternate earth that has long since been colonised by us humans.

My own Kaiju! The concept of the guy has been with me since 2007, but here's his finalized version that I'm VERY satisfied with. His name is Jovis.

He's part of a Kaijuverse that I created as my own personal project of mine called "Terra Monstrorum". A kaiju story that incorporates other science fiction elements, it's set in an Alternate Earth where no humans ever existed, said was colonized, and after a century or so, the harsh secret of the planet blows up (literally) in humanity's face, creating kaiju and a vast array of other kinds of mutants.
