An unconventional Kaijune piece! Our primate ancestors would have viewed the dinosaurs as kaijus. They’re already big by our standards, but imagine from their standards!
Originally I only wanted to upload the colored version, but I liked the black and white version SO much, that I had to draw it as well!

Once again, I’m so grateful for the response to my two previous Inktober pieces.
I’m a huge fan of speculative fiction, speculative evolution and post-apocalyptic fiction, so I’m glad that people are interested in my post-human ecology pieces. I’m definitely planning to continue expanding on this world even after inktober ends.
In the outskirts of what was once Denver, Colorado, an ancient foe reincarnated stalks the great plains and its inhabitants.
Though the pronghorn’s own speed can no longer guarantee its safety, a buck in his prime isn’t going to let this newcomer prey on his fellow herd-members without a fight.

My first Inktober for 2019!
A piece of speculative fiction, based on what would happen if humans just disappeared, and nature is left to its own devices. This is set in Arizona, where a jaguar attempts to catch a red kangaroo.
The context is that, without humans, the jaguar begins reclaiming much of its former American territory, while the red kangaroo is descended from escaped kangaroos from zoos and animal shelters.
Or irresponsible Floridian pet owners.

Here it is everyone! What I’ve been working on for the past month!
What was originally meant to be a portfolio project, became something of a passion project of mine.
It’s the story of an Elf Mage-in-training named Gwynna, going through her 4th year of magical college, and her misadventures with a very special dog that has a supernatural ability to attract all sorts of trouble, from the tiniest of inconveniences to almost apocalyptic events.
I’m planning on maintaining a regular schedule of updating every Saturday, but as I’ve already quite a lot of pages already, I’ll be uploading the first page today.

Originally I was doing something for portfolio reasons (Indonesia Comic-Con is starting next month), but I had SUCH a blast working on this that I might as well make a webcomic page about it (with the encouragement of my good friend @miuzes )
So @nemesis-is-my-middle-name, here’s the comic that I told ya about! Or at the very least, it’s cover xD.
Kaijune - Terra-2 - It’s Joe
I only just realized that this month was also Kaijune! As I’m going to be consumed by other activities, I thought I’d do something special, so I’m revisiting a setting and a character I haven’t updated in a LOOOONG time... Those who’ve followed me since my DA days probably know him!
Set in a world that’s basically a sci-fi genre-crossover where the Kaiju are top-of-the-food-chain, the name of the big guy is Jovis. Over the years he went from being a Heroic Neutral Force of Nature to an unambiguously good and heroic kaiju... that can still cave in the skulls in of other kaiju. What he lacks in cunning (and basic survival instincts), he more than makes up by being really, REALLY strong.
It’s good to bring you back big guy... I missed drawing you!

The Nameless King was once a dragon-slaying god of war, before he sacrificed everything to ally himself with the ancient dragons
While I was brainstorming the sequel for my Deities picture, I thought: What if the Nameless King (and his Dragons) defeated Gwyn? Plus I wanna draw something in my usual artstyle, and what better subject than my favorite Dark Souls character?
For this pic, I will refer to him as Gwyntaran, God of War and Lord of Dragons. I wanted to give this version of NK a vibe of a Conqueror, the god who overcame the wrath of the Lord of Sunlight and took his father’s crown and greatsword for his own. Even his shoulder armor is modified to look more like Gwyn’s. As a symbol of his power, drakes (like the hellkite drake), wyverns and a certain Darkeater guard and watch over the skies of Anor Londo, and storms have as much presence as the sun. Despite this however, he lives a constant state of battle as there are many who’d probably still be loyal to his father, and thus it’s up to him to “quell” these loyalists. In battle, he wields the Dragonslayer Swordspear in his right hand, and the Great Lord Greatsword in his left.
He’s always the first on the frontlines and the last to leave, and his influence is felt from all corners of the world of DS, from Archdragon Peak to Anor Londo itself, with ambitions to go further east to Forossa (where he’s known as Faraam) and beyond. Perhaps even the Ringed City may fall under his circle of influence, rather than be used as a glorified prison as Gwyn intended. He travels around upon his trusty companion, the stormdrake, though now he has a whole host of mounts he could use to travel.
The look for his face is heavily inspired by Geralt of Rivia from the Witcher along with... Edward Kenway from AC. They had the right look of the gruff and rugged protagonist I was looking for. He got that scar from his final duel with big daddy Gwyn.
