Hey there everyone! Long time no post! Been extremely busy with work! But now I can share you some art I’ve been doin’! Worked on a collab with @miuzes for a Cuphead comic! Created two OCs for her comic, and evolved into this! Her Comic is Here! My OCs are the Knight Guilds of Sugarland. Because every fantasy kingdom needs some knight orders! Sworn to Baroness von Bon Bon and basically my way of having fun with the multitude of warriors throughout history by giving them a 1930s candy themed spin on each. From Top Left, Clockwise: Sir Sugar, of the Knights of the Golden Floss: A chummy knight from a cotton-candy themed guild. They ride giant golden rams made of golden colored floss and horns of hard candy and are all about helping the innocent, saving maidens.. Based off the beaked helmets of 14th-15th century knights Sir Mint, of the Crimson Canes. Sugar’s best friend, and a member of a knight order that has no real home base, and just helps weary travelers from bandits... Named for their massive indestructible candy canes that pack quite a wallop. Based off the bucket-helmet look of 12th Century Knights.
The Countess Gabby Gumdrop of the Cola Cannoneers. Mint’s significant other, and her cannon’s name is the Carbonator. A huge fangirl of Baroness von Bon Bon. Her guild is exactly what it implies. Based off 17th to 18th century artillery men.
Sir Polvoron of the Knights of Santo Regaliz. A licorice themed knight guild, and by the far the most ideological and conservative. They hurl themselves pel mel against dragons and nasty creatures for the glory of Sugarland and the Baroness. Most likely to throw a fit if they heard the Baroness once made a contract with the devil... Based of 16th Century Tercios and Conquistadores.
The Candy Corn Lad of The Candy Corn Guild. Technically loyal to Kernel von Pop... They’re absolutely useless. Based on nobody in particular. Lord Water-Spear of The Peppermint Pistoliers. Peppermint themed... and yet, their name is a lie, they much prefer muskets. Only named so because it’s catchy. They do whatever they want and is the more self serving of the bunch... but they like Bon Bon because she pays them... so yeah.
FINALLY get a chance to talk about E3! And honestly? I’m liking what Microsoft gave so far! No irony or sarcastic comment here!
I’m actually pretty excited for the direction Gears and Halo are going for! The Nostalgia BURST within me like you wouldn’t believe! But I’m also glad we’re moving away from the Fenix dynasty and exploring aspects of other characters. Kait was for me quite interesting, and ever since the ending I was HOPING that her ancestry would become a major plot point... and it looks like IT IS.
Also, NEW CUPHEAD CONTENT
HC: Cagney only blooms when he’s really happy :B
Today’s Valentine’s Day (at least in Indonesia), so here’s a shipping art, something I don’t do often, but I found MelonCandy WAY too cute. Also a Cagney... Just because.
Busy day at work, so I found an old pic stashed in my laptop and colored. It’s yet another video game character done as a Cuphead Boss... Charizard. Basically an angrier version of Grim Matchstick... with Popeye arms. Based off my own Charizard, Cheddar.
Draw some characters from Cuphead in my style.
I love these renditions so much!
Colored my inktober piece! And it Looks Ornstein and Smough were too much for our heroes to handle!
Who doesn’t love Cuphead and Dark Souls jokes! Eh? EH? Forgive me please
Much like the Mario bros, this ALSO comes in grayscale for extra 1930s flavor :D
Yet another piece for Inktober... featuring my favorite dark fantasy game series...
With all the Cup-Souls jokes this was bound to happen sooner or later...
I’m sorryyyy
Cuphead and his pal Mugman face off against The Super Mario Bros., who’re are gonna show these whippersnappers a thing or two about PLUMBING in this Boss Battle!
Colored version of my Inktober pic! And in grayscale, for authentic 1930s goodness!
Late Inktober piece that also acts as a work in progress ( I wanna color this).
In light of Cuphead’s success, I thought it’d be funny for everyone’s favorite cup duo facing off gaming’s most famous brothers in a Boss Battle.
As you guys know, I’m an animation enthusiast, and Cuphead captured my heart immediately when it was first announced, so when I heard the game was praised to high heaven, I was SO relieved. The 1930s rubberhose animation style is essentially the prototype all other animation birthed from, so it’s great to see the artstyle is being tribute in the modern era.
