Context for moderate angst:

For all that their journey to the lonely mountain had been fraught with peril and the defeat of the dragon had left devastation in its wake, Bilbo hadn’t been prepared for the battlefield. Surrounded by blood and silence, the aftermath rang deafening all around him and the moans of the wounded were drowned out by the weight of the dead. He could barely distinguish friend from foe, some broken beyond recognition, those that weren’t somehow even harder to look at.
He turned his head.
“Does it get any easier?”

I just watched DoS this afternoon and it was SO GOOD and since it was a special screening for a fundraiser, they let me design some tickets and I made this and they made a tarp for it too sdhfjgkalgjfsd

Determamfidd’s Sansûkh has such perfect relationship between Thorin and Frerin - by ‘perfect’ I mean incredibly painful. With Frerin so much younger and Thorin so broken and closed off it’s almost impossible for them to relate to each other and I think both probably feel it’s their fault. 

So, yeah, I dig.
