It has come to my attention that you all need some hugs. Please accept these DW hugs.
Flower crown Doctor collection for now
Meme-face’s very important ranking of Doctor + Master combos from the most to least feral
10/Simm!Master: Simm!Master is a literal cannibal with a very punchable face. Ten has unresolved anger issues and a terrible sense of grandiosity. They spend a lot of time manhandling each other. It’s only a matter of time before someone starts biting. Probably Simm.
Tie between: 8/Roberts!Master and 13/Dhawan!Master
Almost all of the feral energy between 8/Roberts!Master is brought to the table by Roberts who is an uncontrollable freak. 8 is easily impressionable and can be driven to manic states of ferality. 8 will likely surprise you by going for a nut shot early in the brawl.
As for 13/Dhawan!Master, 13 is one bad day away from biting someone’s ear off and becoming a trash hermit. Dhawan lived in the Outback for years. That really ups your ferality. Just beating the shit out of each other wouldn’t resolve any trauma, but it still might be a good move mental health wise.
7/Ainley!Master: Master is literally infected by a Cheetah virus. Few things are more feral than cats, especially big ones. 7 claims he doesn’t want to fight and die like animals, but come on. We know that isn’t really true. He is a tiny bastard man.
12/Missy: 12 is a fucking goblin already, and of course Missy is bananas, but I think ultimately 12 would start a fight and just let MIssy win morosely after a while, figuring he deserves it.
6/Ainley: 6′s fashion sense provides much of the feral energy, but Ainley pulls his fair share.
5/Ainley: 5 channels all feral energy and converts it into curmudgeonliness, so any attempt at fighting like cats in a bag short circuits into grumping and bitching at each other.
3/Delgado!Master: Too distinguished and mannered. Will ritualistically sword-fight each other, but the idea of fighting each other like feral animals? Pshaw.
Technically. Technically. Simm!Master is an anthropophagite, as he’s humanoid but not a human, but does eat human flesh. I mean, I’ve found multiple definitions but I do like to be proper. He used “decimate” correctly, remember.
I am absolutely delighted to be corrected about this.
I feel sad that 4 and crispy was ignored, because few things are more feral than Tom Baker interacting with a corpse
Oh my god, how could I have made this mistake. I forgot 4/Ainley too and he deadass just kills him. Between that and Four’s apparent excess of teeth, that’s feral as fuck.
space madlads battle eachother to death, inspired by this wack wikihow meem pic
I wouldn’t put it above six to use his former self as a bludgeoning weapon.
#Five is definitely the most wieldable Doctor#But I don’t think Six is the most likely to wield a Doc#He’s up there. Along with Three and One#but I think the most Doctor likely to wield a Fellow Doc is Four#he wouldn’t hesitate #past self? Future self? doesn’t matter#he’d wield himself if it was an option #if you’re within reach? Fuck you ( @being-of-rain )
The Doctor’s personality types
So every once in a while I find myself trying to perfect my categorization of the Doctor’s different personality types. Because although my brain definitely groups them together in certain ways, it’s not quite sure why it does so. But now that we’ve seen Twelve’s arc, I think I’ve finally got it:
The Flippant Renegade
These Doctors don’t give a fuck what anyone thinks. They live free and dress sloppy. If they play the fool, it’s as a protest to show how little respect they have for their enemies or the situation that they’re in. They do fight for things on occasion but oftentimes are more concerned with rebelling against. They’re the most anti-authoritarian Doctors and have the strongest individualist streaks.
The Devious Trickster
These Doctors are always working on multiple levels. They’re prone to clowning to keep their enemies off-base. They lie a lot and keep things close to the chest. There’s always a distance there. They’re also the most professorial, with the biggest interest in knowledge and teaching. While they have a strong sense of right and wrong, they’re very pragmatic about how they achieve their goals. These are the ones most capable of genocide.
The Arrogant Moralist
These Doctors think that they’re always right all the time. They have very high standards for everyone else. Anyone who falls below their standards they treat with disdain, but anyone who meets their standards, they adore. They’re the most self-impressed and also the most concerned with their own appearance and image. They tend the most toward hypocrisy.
The Humane Tourist
These Doctors aren’t looking for trouble. They’re not showy. They’re leisurely. Their dress is subdued but distinctive. They’re less concerned with morality and more concerned with mercy. They’re also the most interested in other people and their lives. They’re the most collaborative Doctors, oftentimes looking for input from others on how to proceed.
…You know, looking at it now, it’s entirely possible I may have just sorted them into Hogwarts houses, but I’m gonna try not to think about that too much.
Same software, different face. 💫 @doctorwho
