Do people who haven’t seen Classic DW understand just how absolutely insane it is? I mean it starts off pretty normal, at first it’s this chill educational family show following the adventures of a crazy old man, his sunshiny granddaughter, and a couple of school teachers, as they run away from their problems together or get kidnapped. But you can tell the writers didn’t really know where to go with it as the story progresses, so they just kept making it more and more unhinged until it’s unbelievably choatic and completely spectacular. I kid you not, it ends with furries motorcycle jousting to the death and then goes off air for 16 years. It’s glorious. Please watch classic.
