June 14, 1966 - After cops killed a construction worker during a protest the day before, Dutch construction workers and their supporters take to the streets in Amsterdam. They march to the headquarters of the right-wing newspaper de Telegraaf (who were nazi collaborators during the war) and attack it, because the newspaper printed the lie from the police that the construction worker died of a heart attack. Today De Telegraaf are still shit right-wingers spreading lies, they should have burned the whole building down (and Dutch cops are still murderers). [video]

April 30, 1980 - Squatters battled riot police in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with the goal of disrupting the Coronation ceremony of Queen Beatrix. Empty buildings were squatted, and squatters even set up a radio-transmitter that they used to jam police communications. The squatters used the slogan “Geen Woning, Geen Kroning“ (No Housing, No Coronation), to show their anger at the huge amount of money spent on the anachronistic ceremony instead of on social housing and other social needs.
