the people upset about gay or trans representation in barbie are the same people who would get angry if their kids made two barbies of the same sex “kiss” or if they put them in gender non-conforming clothes.
it is absurd when they yell about how children play with plastic dolls and it’s just as absurd when they’re yelling about movies. they’re just absurd people, stop expecting anything less.
