^ This. The parallel to the Dartz duel was the first thing I noticed in that scene and fucked me up just as bad. Which is why when Yugi asks why Kaiba did what he did, he responded with “for him”; it’s always been for Atem. I mean Kaiba pretty much DIED just on the chance that Atem might return despite being told over and over that he couldn’t. Kaiba’s never been much for faith, but he has faith in Atem and that is beautiful.

So I had to make some kind of edit after I got the movie, and I was originally going to use this song anyway for a different video. But the movie was just too good and I wanted to focus on the different dynamics between Seto, Atem, and Yugi, and how those dynamics/relationships differ. 

Mostly prideshipping with a bit of rivalshipping and puzzleshipping as well.
