My biggest complaint about Cho Yeong's character is that the writers could have shown more of Naksu/Mudeok/Cho Yeong's past without Jang Uk and made these parallels in part 2, as a person independent of her beloved. We only had 2 scenes of her alone: when she jumps off the boat and the fact that she likes chicken. But she could have had more of Mudeok having her moments alone, shown long before she liked flowers, that she also appreciated honey biscuits… from her past as a murderer. That way, people wouldn't find Yeong's new persona so strange. Also, I think the change was too drastic from a fantasy and comedy story to a darker and romantic story, they could have invested more in this transition.
