Chapter 2 of Aftermath (Ao3)
Now with her future now fully within her control, Zelda is going full speed ahead with her desire to become a Researcher. That includes getting herself an outfit for field excursions and experiment work, and it only took Claree a week, which gave us time to introduce Zelda to all the villagers.
Personally, I think she simply missed her old outfit, but I am the last person to judge her on aesthetic preferences.
