Going to start using this tumblr to keep my WIP photos somewhere organized so I can find them.

Started doing the gold work for Qifrey’s cloak clasp. Couched down fine gold thread for the background, then added felt padding and started couching down thicker threads for a raised effect.

And an update on Qifrey's robe-drafted pattern, sewed it up with French seams turning into hand sewn edges, gathered and bound the shoulders with twill tape. Reinforced the side seams with herringbone tacks and now I'm adding horse hair trim and running a hand stitch around to gather slightly

Qifrey is done and ready for Otakon! Wish me luck in the Hall Costume Contest!
