oh my gosh metamorphers Minimus Ambus is likely totally hairless in his intermediate and irreducible forms bc of his body constantly being hooked up to the Magnus Shell, from the Shell basically becoming his new ‘skin’ and all hormone/genetic impulses towards growing hair getting rerouted out there aaaaAAAAAAAAAAA HES LIKE AN AWFUL LITTLE CLONE FETUS INSIDE HIMSELF THIS IS SO GROSS I LOVE IT SO MUCH
also, cuter thought: Minimus leaving the Shell long enough to for his fur to start growing back on his intermediate form. squee!!!!!!!!!

And then he gets peach fuzz the longer he stays out and it’s so soft.
YES EXACTLY and his innermost irreducible form has like, fetus-y proportions too. huge head, big slightly bulging eyes, very thin and quite frail-looking. But secretly EXTREMELY strong and resilient. (part of why he’s so fetus-y is from being contained inside other suit-forms so consistently for so long that he’s had no opportunity to exercise its muscles properly.)

Plus, for a while he’s probably very sensitive outside the armor. Just constantly cold and everything tastes too intense and he squints in direct light because his eyes take time to adjust heee
