finals continue their relentless march! I’m getting into the meat of animating so I don’t have much time to draw for myself, but I doodled this today w/ highlighters. Ida and the Totem! <3

ok I just played some monument valley and it helped me calm down. I remembered my theory that Ida and the crows all lived in The Rookery before Ida stole all of the sacred geometry. they were either captured and put there by the Men of the valley OR the crows were all so enraptured by the magic that Ida made an agreement with the Men to let them live there. mostly I just keep thinking about the vacant throne in that level because Dang, Ida was meant to sit there. also: The Oubliette is rly soothing but also really emotionally intense for me, partly bc of the two levels right before it, so whenever I play thru that level I wanna cry bc it's so pretty and weirdly emotionally satisfying
