ah yes here are some forest-horror Lumberjill doodles too! basic idea is that Jill and the girls get lost in a powerful, malevolent forest. Jill doesn’t do well in there, but having Ruby and the other girls around to talk to keeps her from succumbing to the forest.
also started batting around ideas for a new Lumberjill character...!!! hmmmmm!!!!!!
Today was a day filled with A) old men with prominent eyelashes, B) thinking about Lumberjills, and C) thinking about boobs of all kinds. (putting this in the peoplebill tag for fun, hoo hoo. <3)

Pitched my idea for my Animation final today, it went really well and I’m super excited!
Here are the illustrations I used for my pitch. The basic story is that the three girls go out into the woods in search of Sasquatch, when they stumble upon an unexpected but pleasant surprise…! :)

I’m about to go get clean but HEY! CHARACTER DESIGN CONCEPTS!!!
I have to pitch an idea for my animation final next week, and I’ve been tossing around the thought of revisiting my character Lumberjill! I’ve used her for some animation exercises before. Anyways… Lumberjill has a friend named Ruby who she presumably gets up to escapades with, but then I thought to myself: why not let Ruby have some friends around her own age, too? In any case I was in the mood to design goofy girls, so voila! Concept art and a tentative lineup!
some background thoughts: these two girls are attending summer camp together in the town Ruby’s visiting, and they’re absolutely inseparable. they’ve gone to the same camp for years, and they still have their friendship bracelets they made for each other their first year there.
(shhhh… some bitty bits of fanart are floatin’ around here ;>)
