In which the logistics of Halloween become a bit complicated when an actual, somewhat unenthusiastic supernatural entity is asked to wear a costume :B

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE! and sorry that I missed the past 2 days of Inktober, I was extremely busy between work & making Halloween costumes >o< but I’m overall happy with what I drew this year!! It was a fun time.

I remembered some old characters yesterday and I had so much fun drawing them I figured I’d make ‘em an Inktober… perhaps some of you may recognize them? I dunno! The girl on the left is Mala, and the boy on the right is Henry. They’re from an old story I developed in high school and which, I now realize, was my first exploration of some themes I’m writing in WFV and its continuing story… so these two are kind of the genetic story-ancestors of Szzi and Bonnie. Neat!

Inktober 14 brings back an old friend…! At least I think she’s a friend. Yeah, she’s friendly enough!

It’s Nakki!! She’s looking different. Quite different. I did some brainstorming over the summer about Niniians, her species, and their looks have changed quite a bit. For reference, this is what Nakki used to look like. Yeah, pretty big changes were made. :B But she’s still the same ol’ Nakki! Well. More or less the same. Though some who know about her experiences on Earth would beg to differ….

Day 13 is for Kaz and Ryuu!!! My favorite sphinx-manticore + oni couple~ They’ve been together for a little over 15 years, and married for 10 years! Neither really expected to end up where they are, but both feel they couldn’t be happier with how things worked out. Kaz in particular feels very blessed to have met Ryuu. <3

Bonnie started presenting as a girl and transitioning when she was 12 years old! She changed quite a bit from 5th to 6th grade, so I thought it’d be cute to share what her school picture day photos from those years would’ve looked like. :B

Inktober day 10 - people tend not to expect this about Cy, but they have a very strong interest in record keeping and reading. They’re a very logically minded, kind of calculating person, so they like having access to lots of information with which to make informed decisions! They’re also very good at math.
