Notably, these animations seem to depict omega breathing, scratching himself, stretching, and idly hopping.

The apparent breathing could be some form of ventilation, exhaust, or channeled air flow for cooling purposes, while the stretching may be some manner of joint stress testing.

The scratching and hopping are more difficult to explain logically; while the hopping may also be some manner of system test, the scratching either indicates Omega has the capacity to "itch" or that he engages in mimicry.

The fact that he is spinning a full 360 degrees while scratching himself points to this being an act of idle stimulation, as spinning seems to be something Omega likes to do.
