Need people to realize that even if Stolas were to escape the sitcom, he'd still be chased by the guards the whole time he's looking for Via. I imagine it'd be inconvenient to search for someone while being chased yourself
Getting Loona to handle the issue for now while they get the whole thing over with was probably the smartest option
I need Stolas to be put in some kind of trolley problem situation where he chooses Via over Blitz because I'm so sick of people saying he cares more about Blitz than Via

Lately more people have been talking about Stolas' poker face but whatever you do, don't think about him putting on that poker face in front of little Octavia after being abused by Stella! Don't imagine how many times he's had to lie to her face about it, trying to be strong for her!!
Sometimes I think about Octavia finding out that Stolas endured years of abuse for her sake, especially after she said that Stolas doesn't love her. I feel like she'd appreciate it but I also think she'd feel mortified and guilty.

The thing I find amusing about Via hate is that it almost always seems to come from Stolas fans. Stolas would be pissed at you guys if he knew about the things you're saying about his daughter on the internet
The fact that people are calling Stolas a neglectful father is really giving me the impression that a lot of people don't understand how serious child neglect is. Not only is it abuse, but it's the most common form of child abuse. Like seriously, this isn't a term you use lightly. You're just getting into a sensitive topic now not knowing what you're talking about and it honestly feels almost offensive at the expense of child neglect victims. Unless you want to imply that he IS abusing her...

The autistic Stolas headcanon puts so much into perspective. Like whether Viv intended it to be this way or not, this can definitely be interpreted as an autistic man not understanding social cues and lacking empathy which his neurotypical antis just don't understand.
It's not an excuse, but this is what I mean when I say everybody babies autistic people until it comes to the uglier parts they can't romanticize
It really bothers me when people act like the moral of Seeing Stars was that the fact that Stolas is trying absolves him from all consequences. Loona said herself that Stolas fucked up. The point is that Via empathized with him and forgave him
People calling Stolas a "neglectful father" don't seem to realize that child neglect is abuse, and abuse is traumatic. There is a difference between trauma and regular hardship. Trauma literally alters your brain chemistry and permanently affects its ability to function
Not to dismiss Via's pain, but your dad being too busy on the phone to talk, taking you to amusement park you don't want to go to, or hitting on their new love interest in front of you isn't trauma. It's hardship.
Stolas and Via bonding over their mutual love for astronomy is adorable and we as a fandom need to talk about it more

Stolas antis will see him have the most resolvable, short term miscommunication conflict with Via and act like he committed the most unforgivable, heinous atrocities known to man. I'm not saying he did nothing wrong, but you guys need to move on. Hurting someone's feelings accidentally and making up for it is something that happens all the time. STILL being stuck on him flirting with Blitz in front of Via in Loo Loo Land in 2024 as if that wasn't a forgivable mistake that he apologized for just feels obsessive
