Albedo Headcanons

A/n: Since I don't have much to post rn, I decided to go back to some of my old headcanons that I didn't publish and expand on them. These ones are all the way back from 2022 even, but I'm still happy with my portrayal of Albedo lol. Hope you all enjoy them too! I did work on these a little more, but I didn't take in consideration all the new events with Albedo after 2022. Keep that in mind.

Contents: General platonic and romantic headcanons, Albedo x GN!Reader, fluff, dash of angst if you squint really hard, self indulgent, possible grammar mistakes

- Albedo is not a person who really indulges much, or at all, in friendships and relationships. He can understand the appeal, but he simply does not care as much as an average individual. He has his work to get to and his research to keep going, and the continuously taxing process of keeping relationships in general are tiring for him

- He prefers his solitude much more than any other company. He may not be in love with people much, but he is in love with the trees, the branches, the snow falling and the frozen lakes of Dragonspine - every new day means a new love for him, and he cannot wait to do his homework on anything and everything, even things he understands fully now. One thing you can equate this love of his to is the snow of Dragonspine itself, countless snowflakes hugging the lands, buried deep in crevices and cracks, trying to get to the center of the world.

I'm not done yet with the genshin archon quest, but for those that have played through or are still playing - what are your thoughts? I'm feeling rather disappointed although I went into this with little to no expectations.

Around 2020 is when I began to publish x reader fics on here, and I remember posting a question for advice in this community, not just for x reader fics but writing in general and I received this message that really did stick with me to this day. I refuse to delete it from my inbox, but I'd love to share it with everyone else too since I think it is important.

A lot of writers these days seem to think of everyone else but themselves and their health, which often leads to burnout and stress and similar feelings and situations.

For any authors out there, please just take care of yourself first, look after yourself when you write - especially in the x reader community where I see this issue most often. You don't have to please anyone, don't rush and stress yourself to push out content just because someone requested or demanded it in anon. You don't owe it to anyone. I feel like I am being harsh, but I believe it is necessary to be a bit more blunt with this. There are people out there who will enjoy what you write.

It is important to ask yourself - Do you enjoy writing it? Do you like the characters you're writing for? What about the plot? Do you feel stressed writing this or that?

Take a break, go on a walk, write something else, write for yourself, go eat something or drink something nice. You can leave the project you're working on and come back to it when you feel better, or you don't have to do it at all if you feel it is causing you too much pressure. Nothing bad will happen. You'll be okay.

HSR/Genshin characters as dragons

A/n: I feel like this is a bit shorter than my usual dragon posts, I apologize for that. But I also have to say (for my sake at least) that these images of dragons aren't what my finished art looks like. -Jing Yuan, although looking really fluffy and soft as he does, is a formidable warrior. He didn’t get to be a General for nothing at all

-His fur does hide a lot away and it does give him a rather gentle appearance, making him a bit easier to approach than your regular dragon. His species specifically wasn’t made for war but rather for more endurance and some more milder things, but Jing Yuan excels in all aspects of his kind and has proven himself worthy of his station during the wars and during more diplomatic events.

-Ex-fatuu, worked under Dottore's command when he came into the fold, had a sister with eleazar(I forgot how to spell it whoops), caused a big mess when a fellow colleague betrayed her which resulted in the death of her sister, setting back the Doctor's progress by a long shot, fled to Liyue, was found near the Chasm by the miners and the rest you'll have to read her toyhouse for 😔✨

-She's also Jien's favourite Shard, Jien is really proud of Jerenika and what she has become.

-Another pretty dragon to the list, and one amongst the kinder ones out there. A gentle giant by heart, he seeks to protect all beauty and innocence in the universe

-His kind is generally perceived as greedy and hostile, but for all negative traits his species has, he makes up for them tenfold.

-He tiptoes around young ones and anyone too small or too slow, he carries them if need be without being prompted to. Elderly and the kids have grown to love his presence and assistance, however scarce it may be since he comes and goes like the wind, chasing whatever enemy he spotted. Sometimes he can be overbearing with how eager he is to help, be it in human or dragon form
