One of my moots on instagram asked for their sleeping arrangements and I went ahead and doodled their sleepwear too for the fun of it. Between the two of them, Jien is the portable heater and Ratio has circulations problems(for whatever reason).

Good thing he has a dragon woman that hugs him to sleep to keep him warm. Blankets? Who needs those..

Decided to take a break from studying today because I felt too fried to do anything else, mentally and physically - so I doodled my favourite blorbos. Jon has been alright in the show, I liked him well enough, but ever since I began reading the books he's been growing on me, it's crazy. Dany stays number 1 though<3 my sweet girl with her Viserion.

Words: 30354 (woww- much longer than my first chapter.. I was feeling quite inspired)

The long halls climbed up around them like a throat leading them into the belly of a beast and the air was cold and disgustingly still. For a long while it was silence that accompanied them down into the prison. Jien spoke nothing, the guard only spoke in short commands - don’t touch this, follow here, don’t go there - and Syaoran was silent as well. His palms felt sweaty and he flexed his right hand, feeling the scarred tissue pull harder against the rest of his skin. He remembered when he got his hand burned and cut when he was young, and as the skin was healing it had become a habit of his to flex the fingers of his hand periodically. He had no sword now, though, no hilt to reach for, no hilt or gun handle. It bothered him, but he swallowed it all down and kept his mouth shut. 

They have given them the evidence, copied them more than once and sent one copy of the countless logs and footage to the Ten-Lords commission that held the records of team’s whereabouts for the entire last year with a clear promise that they could provide more if need be. There were holes in there too, though. Supervisor Jien seldom appeared on the cameras, but had all her logs clean, leading the High-Elder to believe the team forged her signature and reports in her name over time.

"Treading starlight"

A little doodle that ended up not looking like just a doodle. Also made me think about how the little kids, foxians and young Vidyadhara hatchlings think of Jien. Playing around with the idea of it but basically the kids end up with these stories of the "starry dragoness".

The story of a dragon that came suddenly to them from outside of their Alliance, from some faraway star. And now she guards them when they're out and about the Xianzhou Luofu. She's strict, but she keeps them safe, she teaches them what she knows too, she guides them like the North star.

The gifts she gives them are all shimmery at first and pale gold with a golden seam before it fades into another material, they think it is all made of starlight. They treasure the gifts even more as they grow. Maybe she's made of starlight as well! Or maybe they're all children of the stars, but it is her alone who has a hard time leaving behind that ancestral home and the little habits of it? Maybe she just misses home and there's not much they can offer as comfort, but they can be with her and tell her about how they colored the trees the wrong color and misspelled a word or made their parents proud and she'll remember it all. <3

Most known for her distant and wandering character, not many people have the luck to see her, or that often. There are plenty more mysteries surrounding her, each yielding more questions than answers.

Bet y'all didn't know I used to animate stuff before

I was feeling nostalgic and went a bit through my old DA account and found these, I thought I'd share for a bit since I still really like this and sort of miss this time in my art career.

First is an old design for a dragon character I scrapped, honestly you could consider it an old design for Jien's current dragon form since I always had a vision for it but was never able to execute it as well, I never really liked the old designs too much.

Second one is my DC OC Volkov or Agent 43, a character that honestly got me through a lot and a character by whom a lot of people now know me as Agent. I don't use her as much but she has her spot on my Toyhouse with other meaningful OCs of mine.

Both of these are from around 2019-2020.

I missed Layla...and initially I was going to do absolutely nothing about it but then I saw this trend everywhere and my hand did the drawing on its own accord. I did not consent to this but oh well.. I think my colors on my tablet are off because all of it looks so pale help. Just a colored sketch mess but it's alright.

Gonna leave this here and run, gonna go throw up because they're so disgusting I hate them sm (I say as I keeep drawing them)
