“I don’t know what my goals are, no. Thanks for asking.”
#i recently just broke out this cycle. my biggest advice is that if you have the opportunity/time/energy/money… volunteer.#my internship was at a nonprofit and i spent a lot of time with volunteers helping guests and it was incredibly fulfilling#especially if you can volunteer in something tangentially that you enjoy! if u like to draw maybe see if summer art camps need help#(theyd probably pay you there too haha)#the next one is cold email/message people who have job titles youre interested and schedule calls with them#learn about their company and job and see if you’d actually like it#and casually mention if you’ve applied to something there and youre looking for more information#finally don’t have crazy high expectations of what you want. this is what i kept doing and it was an issue for me#don’t only accept the best. you can have a wonderful time at something that isn’t ‘your dream’#go to charity navigator and start looking for places to volunteer fr fr. u can be the difference in ur community
