What up Tumblroars? CaptionCat here with another update from the set of my new #OscarBait film, #GingerFury. Since I blew an entire shoot day yesterday throwing a #DivaFit, we had to buckle down today, so I breezed onto set around 9 AM, which made me only about 3 hours late.

Then we got down to business. The first thing we did is workshop the scenes with the actors, to make sure everyone is on the same page, and find places for rewrites. Surprise! No rewrites needed, because my script is PERFECT. I TOTALLY DOMINATE filmmaking.

We still haven't gotten a shot off, but I feel like there's a really good energy on set. Craft Services put out Greenies today, and everyone is in a good mood.

Yesterday was the first day of principle photography on #GingerFury, and I'm sorry I didn't post any updates, but I was too busy DOMINATING. It's important that on the first day of shooting you establish your DOMINANCE, or even the Key Grip will walk all over you. And don't get me started on the Teamsters.

So, while everyone else made their 6 AM call time, I just kept napping and breezed in around noon, and then I asked real loudly why everyone was just standing around. See what I did there?

Then I got into my trailer and refused to come out because it only had a 50" plasma and not the 60" as is specifically stated in my contract. Here's the gag: I'm the producer! I ordered the 50" so I could throw a #DivaFit and prove to everyone that when CaptionCat doesn't come out of her trailer, there is no movie. Throwing a #DivaFit shows everyone that you're TOTALLY DOMINANT.

So we had the 60" plasma brought in and I went to set, but I promptly fell asleep in the middle of a take, beacuse #DivaFits are tiring. Besides, true artists nap when they want.

What up Tumblrams? On the heels of #KanyeWeek and #Catopia, I am even more inspired than ever to achieve #WorldDomination. So today, I will begin adding to my #OscarBait films with my first #ActionMovie. Summer is quickly arriving, and I realized that like all studios, MyNameIs.Lu Studios needs a #SummerTentpoleMovie. You know, a real crowd-pleaser #SummerBlockbuster

So today we begin principle photography on “#GingerFury”, a martial-arts action movie that is sure to keep the popcorn flowing in the mulitplexes all summer long. Finally! My Kung-Fu Kitteh-Style meets The Ginger Fists of Fury. Totally genius, right?

Over the next two weeks, I will be tweeting from the set and the editing bay, keeping y’all abreast of the latest developments. Who knows, I may even throw a #DivaFit on set, so don’t miss anything!

Additionally, I will also be providing updates on @MarleyKatz’ burgeoning art career. That’s right, I’m not only his Director-Producer-Manager-Agent-Attorney-Publisher, I’m also his Art Dealer. Totally NOT a conflict of interest, OK?
