Man, just. The acting in this scene was top notch, but also to watch him realize that the loss of her memories erased all the self respect she’d gained with him? And she’d been living without it all these years? But then for her to see him furious over the idea of losing her! After she tells her mom how precious, how magnificent Rose is to her, and watches her mom struggle to say Donna means anything like that to her. But then this familiar stranger is weeping and shouting and crumbling at the thought of sacrificing her to anything, even the imminent loss of nine million people.
This moment is everything.
