IMAGINE (one shot):
Walking away from Jeremy after an argument. You had told him many hurtful things to try to make the break up that much easier. But as you walked away, Jeremy raised his head and said, “What if I love you?” You stop in your tracks and turn to face him. “What are you saying? you ask in barely a whisper. He had never uttered those three simple yet meaningful words to you in your entire relationship. Your heart was skipping beats as he steps closer to you, lifting your chin with his long finger, meeting his eyes to yours. “I love you Y/N. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you that sooner. I’m an asshole. I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry for not telling you how I feel. I was…am…scared. But seeing you walk away made me even more scared.” He sighs and shakes his head as if losing his resolve but when he looks back at you, he looks more determined that ever. “Listen…I don’t know what I’m afraid of but I know that I was more afraid of seeing you walk out that door and never seeing you again than my own stupid committment issues. Please don’t walk out on me…on us. I’ll never deny my feelings for you again.” Slowly, you wrap your arms around his waist, drawing his body close to yours. You whisper, “I love you too and I’m not going anywhere.” You playfully slap his hard chest, “You asshole.”
