One of my favorite battles - almost 50 years old! - in the early days of the “All-New, All-Different X-Men”. 😁 The Juggernaut is so cool. He can be beaten but not stopped. Happy Throwback Thursday!

1988's Marvel Fanfare Vol.1 #41 cover by cover artist Dave Gibbons (he did the interior art too).
Marvel Fanfare stories usually had very little long-term consequences for characters. But they certainly had some great art back in the day. 🎨 Happy Throwback Thursday!
Marvel house ad for The West Coast Avengers and The Vision and the Scarlet Witch Limited Series. In 1985, the House of Ideas did a great of job weaving together the Timely Comics era with the modern Marvel age in an epic saga that ran in the pages of these two titles.
Love this ad for West Coast Avengers and a Vision / Scarlet Witch mini series. 😃 They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Happy Throwback Thursday!
A Bronze Age classic and very 1970s in terms of female (and eventually queer) identity politics. Happy Throwback Thursday…and Pride Month!

Yes, this is a proto-Defenders adventure. It’s also sort of a preview to the Avengers/Defenders War that would take place not long after the team’s formation. Great Bronze Age issues, either way. Happy Throwback Thursday!
A page of the classic issue Uncanny X-Men 268 after Wolverine, Jubilee, and Psylocke rescue Black Widow by fighting the hand. Jim Lee
A raw B&W look at one of the best issues of X-Men ever! The story itself is sort of retro. So happy Throwback Thursday!
Luke Cage, Hero For Hire: Doctor Doom
